I believe each child is unique and has the right to be treated as individuals. Children need to be protected from harm and provided with physical needs such as food, a safe and healthy peaceful environment with developmentally appropriate care for each individual child.
I believe that the first 5 years are the most important in a child's development especially communication skills. Children need opportunities to practice and demonstrate these skills and need opportunities to be exposed to meaningful ways to use and enjoy language and literature.
