Relationships are at the core of everything we believe in. By connecting with the world around them, children can discover
the essence of their own being. Establishing trusted and caring relationships with families helps build a strong bond with
parents, reassuring them that their children are in the best care. We believe that when children feel safe and secure in
trusting relationships and a safe environment, they will confidently engage in play, exploration, contribution, and
relationships. In an environment rich in authentic relationships, children are emotionally fulfilled and ready to delight in a
journey of learning and self-discovery. We also support children socially and emotionally to enhance their sense of
belonging, security, and love.
I believe that young children learn best through play and hands-on experiences. Learning is a social process, and children
benefit from interacting with others in a supportive and nurturing environment. By providing opportunities for children to
explore, experiment, and engage in purposeful play, they develop a deep understanding of concepts and skills. I see young
children as unique individuals full of potential and curiosity. They are natural explorers with an innate desire to learn about
the world around them. Every child is capable and competent, with their own strengths and interests that contribute to their
development and learning journey.
We believe every child should experience an empowering curriculum that recognises and enhances their love for learning
and supports them in fostering love for others. As a teacher, my role is to encourage and support all children to participate in
and contribute to a wide range of enriching experiences. Children, as human beings, possess a hundred languages: a hundred
ways of thinking, expressing, understanding, and encountering others through a holistic approach that weaves together and
does not separate the various dimensions of experience.
As an educator, my role is to facilitate and support children’s learning and development. I strive to create a safe, inclusive,
and stimulating environment where children feel valued and respected. By observing and listening to children, I can tailor my
teaching to meet their individual needs and interests. I aim to inspire a love of learning, encourage curiosity, and foster a
sense of wonder in every child.
I want children to achieve a range of developmental milestones across all domains—cognitive, social-emotional, physical,
and language. I hope they will accomplish tasks that challenge them and experience the joy of mastering new skills. I want
them to feel safe, respected, and capable of expressing their thoughts and feelings.
I hope young children will become confident, competent learners who are curious about the world around them. I want
them to develop a strong sense of self, empathy for others, and the ability to think critically and creatively. My goal is for
children to leave my care with a love of learning, a sense of independence, and the skills necessary to navigate the next
stages of their education.
